Welcome to our inventory of rental buildings in the West End. This is an unofficial compilation. How it is used is up to the individual who may find it useful for whatever reason. Not included are houses that may have rental suites/rooms in them or owner occupied buildings in which some owners may have chosen to rent out their suites personally. As feedback makes itself known adjustments will be made to these pages to make them as accurate and useful as possible.
These lists contain information collected from various sources including a physical inventory resulting from numerous walks through the area noting addresses, names, signage and entry area notices. Additional information was gathered from newspaper and other media ads for rental suites. Corrections and additions will be made as any discrepancies are noted or brought to our attention.
These directories are meant to provide a new tool to individuals considering renting in the West End. The main use of this comprehensive database is the ability to view a building at any particular address, within the area defined, thereby possibly avoiding the need for a walk or drive by. The addition of contact phone numbers in the future will allow for queries about rentals in specific buildings that may be of interest to an individual because of present needs or future purposes.

The area covered by these lists is contained within Haro on the North between Thurlow and Denman, Alberni on the North Between Denman and Chilco, Beach on the south between Thurlow and Stanley Park, Thurlow on the east between Haro and Beach, and Lagoon Drive on the west.
