Snowfall in the West End

The combination of snow and West End definitely constitutes an oxymoron. It is possible to go 2 or 3 years and not see or be aware of snow in the West End. It may melt before it hits the ground. It may be washed away by a following rain. It may occur at night and by morning there is no trace. But every 4 or 5 years a big snow hits this sheltered spot. Some people love the novelty of it, others do not share in the pleasure. Whatever the case here is proof that it does snow in the West End.
